  Tony DeAngelo is a *ahem* controversial figure in the professional hockey zeitgeist. He holds both an army of loyal fans who will defend him unconditionally, and he holds an enemy coalition of fans who hate him regardless of what he says/does. For some of those fans, particularly the former, loyalty to DeAngelo directly ties to political beliefs (ie his strong opinions about Donald Trump ). Opinion: Why Does Trent Baalke Still Have A Job?

NFL General Managers make a staggering amount of money. Some might argue it’s excessive. After all, they’re not curing diseases or saving lives. Yet, their job is undeniably challenging. Few have successfully built NFL dynasties. It takes the right timing, people, and—most importantly—the right mind to construct a winning roster. Great GMs like Brandon Beane , Brett Veach, and Brad Holmes excel at assembling competitive teams year after year. Their work involves managing countless moving parts—players, coaches, and beyond. GMs must not only choose the right pieces but also ensure they’re cost-effective and sustainable for years ahead. It’s a tough job, and most people couldn’t do it. Giants Defeated By Week 11 Bye

The New York Giants came up short versus their Week 11 Bye Week on Sunday Afternoon. Head Coach Brian Daboll and the New York Giants came up just short, largely due to self-inflicted wounds throughout the game. Daniel Jones boasted his best completion percentage of the season (0/0), but managed ANOTHER back-breaking turnover that allowed the bye week to kick the game-winning field goal in the waning moments. Daboll’s team could not kick field goals, as Coach Daboll failed to realize that an injured kicker cannot kick, just like Week 2… no seriously. That really happened in the highest level of professional football. Rookie Tyrone Tracy carried the ball 65 times in an effort to justify General Manager Joe Schoen for choosing to pay Jones over standout RB Saquon Barkley. Barkley & fellow departure Xavier McKinney will likely be first-team all-pros this season. They must be thankful they escaped this cesspool of a franchise.
